Arsenal boss Emery should raid former club for N’Soki if Monreal leaves

Arsenal manager Unai Emery should consider raiding his old club Paris Saint-Germain to sign Stanley N’Soki if Nacho Monreal leaves the club next month.

Monreal is out of contract in the summer of 2019 and, as things stands, will be free to leave the club for nothing in June just like teammate Aaron Ramsey.

The Spaniard has endured an injury-hit season so far, featuring in eight Premier League games.

On Saturday he returned from his hamstring issue as a second half substitute against Huddersfield Town.

He might have some work to do to get back into the side over Sead Kolasinac, who has enjoyed some good form of late for the Gunners.

It remains to be seen how much game time he will get under Emery now that he’s back in the picture.

But if the Spaniard, , is happy to let him run down his contract, then he should use the next transfer window to replace him.

N’Soki a great signing for the long-term

Emery should go back to his old club PSG and try to convince them to part with promising left-back N’Soki.

Still only 19, N’Soki has caught the eye this season in the 10 games he’s played.

The French U19 international did well in pre-season and has been handed several first-team chances by Thomas Tuchel.

He’s currently competing with Juan Bernat at the Parc des Princes.

Emery should try and at least test the waters over N’Soki, .

Monreal has shown some good form in recent years for the Gunners but at 32, is no spring chicken.

Emery unearthed a gem from Ligue 1 in Matteo Guendouzi in the summer, and he could find another in N’Soki who’d be a great buy for the long-term.
