Arsenal are planning to replace ‘incredible’ player who could to leave this summer

Arsenal are now heading back to north London following their pre-season tour of the United States.

The trip across the pond ended in defeat on Wednesday night against Liverpool who secured a 2-1 victory over Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta will not take too much out of their loss given the aim of pre-season is to get the players up to speed fitness-wise.

However, the Arsenal boss is still managing expectations in the market with the Gunners having only brought Riccardo Calafiori through the door.

Players could now be allowed to leave the Emirates following their return from the United States.

But there is seemingly a plan in place to potentially replace one of the players who looks set to leave Arsenal over the coming weeks.

Arsenal could replace £30m player this summer if he leaves

It has not even been a busy summer window for Arsenal when it comes to player sales.

The Gunners have not actually sold a single player this summer with numerous players leaving following the end of their contracts.

Eddie Nketiah remains a player who could leave Arsenal over the coming weeks with Marseille keen on the Englishman.

But there is also another big name who could find himself playing for another club by the end of the month.

According to , Arsenal would look to replace the Aaron Ramsdale if he was to leave over the coming weeks.

“It’s completely quiet now with regards to Aaron Ramsdale,” said Romano.

“There have been no new movements or updates for a while now, so we will have to see what happens later in the window, based on a goalkeepers domino.

“If he does end up leaving Arsenal, then yes guys, they could need one more goalkeeper.”

What club could Aaron Ramsdale sign for?

Last season did not go the way in which Ramsdale will have hoped for in his second season at the Emirates.

The England international found himself demoted down to second choice following the signing of David Raya from Brentford.

Having previously been hailed ‘incredible‘, Ramsdale is not without his suitors this summer.

It has been reported the likes of Nottingham Forest are showing an interest in signing Ramsdale over the coming weeks.

Arsenal have already eyed one young goalkeeper in Charlie Setford this summer and they could soon find themselves looking for another depending on what happens with Ramsdale.
