Arsenal are keeping tabs on rapid young winger who Brighton want to sign

Arsenal are among the clubs tracking one of Europe’s most exciting wingers, Ibrahim Osman, ahead of the January window opening.

The winter window opens in just a day’s time and Arsenal are expected to be busy.

A new number nine is seen as a priority for the Gunners. Ivan Toney, Dusan Vlahovic and Santiago Gimenez have all been touted as potential signings for Mikel Arteta.

However, away from the search for a new number nine, Arsenal are also monitoring young winger/forward, Ibrahim Osman.

According to , Osman is seen by Brighton as someone who can come in and be yet another star for them to develop and sell on in the future.

But it’s also claimed Arsenal are looking at Osman, who is enjoying a fine season with up in Norway.

The report here claims that Arsenal are watching from afar as teams like Brighton consider whether or not to make their move for the youngster.

The 19-year-old, who will represent Ghana, is expected to get a move away from Norway eventually, something his manager even admitted.

“He is a fast winger and striker, and I have huge expectations for him to be skilled. He has the pace which is important for us to have on at least one of our strikers. I don’t want to say that he has to take over for someone, but people can probably figure out that there is a player who is really good for us in the Super League, who might be really hard to keep,” his manager .

Of course, Osman would very much be a signing for the future for Arsenal at this moment in time.

But the Gunners are always on the lookout for new talent and have shown they’ll give people a chance if they are good enough.

Osman, then, could be one to watch, even if he ends up going to Brighton.
