‘Arsenal are all in’: David Ornstein says every key figure at Emirates wants to sign ‘incredible’ midfielder now
David Ornstein has claimed that all the key decision-makers at Arsenal are keen to sign Youri Tielemans from Leicester City before the transfer window shuts.
The Gunners have long been linked with a move for the Belgian international, who will enter the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium next month.
Reports have revealed that Tielemans is open to a move as well, but after Arsenal signed Fabio Vieira from Porto, many outlets claimed that the their interest in the Leicester City man.
Ornstein, however, does not think so. He has claimed that all the key figures at Arsenal are ‘all in’ to sign Tielemans before the window shuts.

Speaking to Joel Beya on , Ornstein said about Tielemans: “Arsenal’s interest in him is very well known and it goes back quite a way.
“There’s no doubt the key decision-makers at Arsenal are all in on him. They want to explore a deal for him, they potentially would like to sign him. but it feels a bit more complicated, just in terms of the congestion of positions & order of signings they’re going for.
“I don’t know for a fact, but it doesn’t seem there’s a massive market for him right now as there perhaps has been in the past.
“If Arsenal feel they’re the only ones in for him & have got a good vibe from his representatives about the player’s intentions, then perhaps this is one you see develop later in the window.”

Tielemans really is a fantastic player.
The midfielder, branded as an ‘incredible talent’ by Michael Dawson, is still only 24, but has played over 450 games for club and country already over the years.
He’s exactly the kind of player Arsenal are looking for, and the fact that he knows the Premier League really well is an added bonus for Mikel Arteta’s side should they go on to sign him in the coming weeks.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Waiting until the end of the window is a risky move, but if Arsenal can get him in the final week, he will likely cost a lesser than what he would tomorrow. That may well be why Edu’s not pushing for a move just yet.
