Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have Luka Jovic on list of striker replacements

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could both be set to go head-to-head in the pursuit of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

that Jovic has a ‘leading role’ in Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s list of potential replacements for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should the Gabon striker leave Arsenal this summer.

Tottenham are also keeping tabs on the Serbian. The report claims that Jovic could be a target for Tottenham should they lose Harry Kane in the summer, with the England captain said to be considering his future at the club.

Chelsea are also said to be keen, but only on a loan deal.

It is reported that all three Premier League clubs are of the belief that Jovic, who has struggled since £52.4 million to Real Madrid, is still a top talent.

Jovic scored 27 goals in 48 games for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018-19 campaign and that goalscoring form is what convinced Real into a deal and has Arsenal and Tottenham still keen.

A lot depends on Real Madrid’s own transfer activity. Los Merengues are keen on Erling Braut Haaland, Sadio Mane, and Kylian Mbappe. Real Madrid are not ready to give up on Jovic as they feel he could still come good at the Bernabeu. But should one of these marquee transfers happen, that situation would swiftly change.

If it does, it appears both Arsenal and Tottenham might be heading up the queue for the out-of-form goal-machine.
