Arsenal and Liverpool scout 10 goal striker tipped to be ‘better’ than Mohamed Salah

Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among those who have watched Omar Marmoush during his sensational start to the Bundesliga season with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Despite Harry Kane’s hat-trick in Bayern Munich’s obl💎iteration of Stuttgart last weekend, the man still setting the pace in the Bundesliga’s Golden Boot race is Egypt international Omar Marmoush.

With an emphatic penalty against champions Bayer Leverkusen, Marmoush took his tally to 🎃nine goals from seven appearances in 2024/2ജ5.

Form that cat🐬ches the eye, TBR ha﷽s learned, of a host of Premier League big hitters.

Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea and Newcastle have all watched Marmoush in recent weeks, alongside European giants Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid. There is also interest from a Liverpool side who’s own Egyptian talisman – Mo Salah – is facing an uncertain future with his contract ex🥂piring in 2025.

TBR understands that Salah 𝓡could leave Anfield either for Saudi A𓆉raba or America in 2025.

Omar Marmoush on radar of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea

Marmoush, who has 10 goals and six assists in all competitions, is unlikely to be viewed by L🎶iverpool as a direct Salah replacement.

The former Wolfsburg flyer is more comfortable as a centre-forwaℱrd these days. And, when he has been used on the wing, Cairo-born Marmoush prefers to cut in onto his right foot from the l꧋eft-hand flank.

According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt would look for around £50 million should they decide to let the 25-year-old go. The 2022 Europa League winners have an outstanding track record wheꩲn it comes to making profits on attacking talents.

Andre Silva, Sebastian Haller, Ante Rebic,🐬 Luka Jovic, Jesper Lindstrom and Randal Kolo-Muani all left the Commerzbank Arena for big fees.

One of Marmoush’s admirers, PSG paid £70 million to bring Kolo Muani to the Fre🎶nch capital in 2023. His struggles since th👍en have opeౠned the door to the likes of Arsenal.

Marmoush nearly joined Nottingham Forest over the summer

TBR have been told, meanwhile, that Frankfurt currently have no plans to cash in during the January window. M﷽armoush is also in no rush to leave. He hopes to help Frankfurt, currently sixth in the standings, secure a place in the Champions League bef🤡ore pursuing a fresh start elsewhere.

“Everyone here is predicting a very great future for him,” Egpytian reporter Tarik Metwally tells . “In my ไopinion, Marmoush is in a better position than Sa🐽lah was at his age.

“If🍨 he continues like this, he will be better [than Salah] at some point.

“Salah was initially characterised by his speed, and then developed further. Marmoush, on the other hand, is also very fast but already has other skills. Some people in Egypt would like to see him in the Premier League, especially at one o🧔f the top clubs.”

The in-form forward did come close to leaving Frankfurt over the 🍸summer.

Omar Marmoush held advanced talks꧟ with Nottingham Forest. Understandably, given the stature of the clubs now hot on his heels, the Marmoush ship appears to 🐲have sailed for a Forest side enjoying an excellent start to the campaign themselves.

Represented by the Stellar agency which cou🦹nts Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Grealish and Liverpool’s own Ibrahima Konate among their clients, Marmoush really came of age with a bludgeoning brace as Frankfurt roared back to draw 3-3 with Baye🔴rn Munich recently.

“Marmoush has incredible qualities,” Bayern boss Viಌncent Kompany said ꦇof the man who rattled home a 94th minute equaliser.

“Of𒐪 course, we wanted to 🍸stop him, but players like him only need a few moments to shine.”
