‘Arsenal act now’: Some Gunners fans want 14-goal magician signed after Thursday updates

A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on reported Gunners target Emiliano Buendia winning both the Norwich Player of the Season award and the Championship Player of the Season accolade on Thursday.

The 24-year-old was heavily linked with Arsenal going into the January transfer window, while in March, claimed that the north Londoners were planning to make an offer for Buendia in the summer.

Buendia impressed in the Premier League last season and, even though the Canaries were relegated after one season, they have bounced back at the first attempt, sitting 12 points clear of third-placed Brentford with two games left.

The Argentine has weighed in with 14 goals and 16 assists in the Championship this term, and his efforts saw him voted the club’s Player of the Season ahead of Grant Hanley and Oliver Skipp, as well as landing the top league accolade.

Buendia edged out the two other nominees, Norwich teammate Teemu Pukki and Brentford’s Ivan Toney, to land the league prize, as reported by .
