Arne Slot told he’s made a ‘masterpiece’ decision at Liverpool which has already improved them from Jurgen Klopp’s team

Liverpool fans may have been worried about the prospect of replacing Jurgen Klopp after he announced his departure, but things couldn’t have gone better.

Jurgen Klopp will go down as one of the greatest managers to have ever managed Liverpool Football Club.

He took charge of 491 games for the Reds, of which they scored ♔1,035 times. Liverpool took fewer games than und𒈔er any other manager to reach 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1,000 goals in all competitions.

At 62.57 per cent, Klopp finished with the highest percentage win ratio in league games of any Liverpool manager who has been in charge for more than 30 mౠatches.

The German won One Premier League title, one Champions League crown, an FA Cup, two EFL Cups, t🌼he Community Shield, a UEFA Super Cup and a Fifa Clu⭕b World Cup.

However, Arne Slot‘s the new man in tow🍒n and he has his own way of ru🐼nning things…

The Arne Slot tweak at Liverpool that has left Frank Leboeuf very impressed

Of course, Klopp’s legacy will live on at Liverp𒁃ool but Slot already appears to be building one of his own, despite him just being three ga🉐mes into his tenure.

Interestingly, the Liverpo♔ol squad have described Slot’s meetings as ‘like going back🐠 to school’, though whatever he’s saying is clearly ꧂working as they’re yet to concede in the Premier League.

has been left impressed by one change in particular that Arne Slot has made, as he spoke on ES🦂PN’s YouTube channel.

“The comparison is there (between Klopp and Slot). They’re more secure defensively, they want to make sure that if they lose the ball they don’t have only the two centrꦐe-backs yo༒u know defending.

“And you win the battle, you win games in the middle of the park and when you see Mac Allister, Gravenberch and Szoboszlai, they work that they do and how they combin꧟e together offensively and defensively, it’s a masterpiece for me”.

Does Slot’s new system suit Liverpool more?

Well, the numbers so far this season certainly seem to suggest that Slot’s new system suits the pl🔯ayers he has at his disposal.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been slꦿammed for his defensive position𓆏ing in the past but that seems to be a concern of the past, as the Liverꩵpool full-backs now take a more defensive approach.

Jurgen Klopp was🍨 quite the opposite, allowing his full-backs 𓆉to almost play as wing-backs at times which often proved to be the downfall defensively, though it did allow Andy Robertson and Trent to pile on the assists.

The real test will be when a Manchester City or an Arsenal come to town and how Slot ada🌼pts his system to that, as those are the ga♔mes that can truly decide a season.
