Arne Slot should submit last minute bid for £50m Premier League player who said he’d be open to Liverpool move
Liverpool have had a really quiet transfer window but are on the verge of signing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
The Reds are set to pay just £10.9m for Chiesa, who was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona earlier this week.
The Italy international has agreed personal terms and is now set to jet over to Merseyside to complete the transfer.
Whilst that deal is finalised, Liverpool should submit a last minute bid to sign a Premier League centre-back.

Liverpool should submit bid for Nottingham Forest defender Murillo
Joel Matip left Anfield earlier this summer upon the expiry of his contract and The Reds are yet to replace him.
Sepp van den Berg has also left for Brentford, so they’re certainly light in the centre-back region.
With that said, they should really consider launching a bid for Nottingham Forest’s Murillo, who is thought to be worth around £50m.
The Brazilian has established himself as one of the most promising centre-backs in the Premier League since completing a switch from Corinthians last summer.
Chelsea were looking at Murillo but those links have since gone cold so perhaps there’s an opportunity to make an 11th hour deal, especially considering the fact he’s previously admitted he’d be open to joining Liverpool…
Murillo open to Liverpool transfer
Earlier this summer, Murillo admitted in an interview that he wouldn’t rule out a move to Liverpool.
“I had the dream of playing in the Premier League and I had that thought. I thought: ‘I’ll go to Nottingham Forest, have a good year and then I’ll go to a big club’. I had that in my head,” the 22-year-old said, via .
“I’d choose Manchester City but it would be more difficult for me to be a regular starter given the players they have in their squad,” Murillo said.
“There’s City, Arsenal as well, who are fighting for the Premier League title. I wouldn’t discard Liverpool either, it would be a good opportunity for me to show my football in a big club.”
So, evidently, if Liverpool were to come in for Murillo, his head would likely turn.
