Arne Slot delivers one-word verdict on what it must be like to be a Tottenham season ticket holder
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are set to lock horns in a big Premier League fixture on Sunday.
Spurs have made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League, while Liverpool are top of both the league table and the Champions League standings.
Tottenham have shown they have what it takes to blow any opponent away on their day, including Manchester City, who found that out on 23 November.
However, Spurs have also found themselves on the receiving end of some disappointing results and some particularly bad capitulations.
Thursday’s Carabao Cup game was Tottenham all over as they blew Manchester United away in the first 60 minutes before almost collapsing.
However, Spurs managed to get over the line in a 4-3 victory, and Arne Slot believes Tottenham fans are being spoilt by the football on offer from their team.

Arne Slot says being a Tottenham season ticket holder is a “privilege”
Slot, speaking to the on Friday, described being a Tottenham season ticket holder as a “privilege”.
The Reds boss also said Ange Postecoglou has “completely” brought back the traditional Spurs identity that has won them admirers all across Europe.
“So, 4-3, I don’t think there are many season ticket holders in the country that can say they watch so many great games,” said Slot. “Maybe the ones at Liverpool!
“I think it is a privilege to be a season ticket holder at Tottenham. It’s a privilege to be a fan of them at the moment because they play such a great style and it’s not like since Ange arrived they don’t win anything anymore.
“Before that they were not a club that won many things, but they always won the sympathy of the fans in Europe, maybe also in England as well, I don’t know, but definitely in Europe because of the style of play they had.
“That is something which you cannot underestimate. If I think about Spurs, I think about the shirt, the playing style and their identity and certain players. For me, he brought that back completely.”

Slot stands up for Postecoglou
At the same press conference, Slot stood up for Postecoglou amid criticism of the Tottenham manager’s desire to stick to his attacking style of play.
He said: “I also hope, hope, hope that he wins a trophy – not the League Cup! But I’m completely a fan of his team for the Europa League because people always talk about trophies, trophies, trophies [and] that it’s so important.
“For his brand of football and his style, it is so much more important and if he can combine that with winning something that would be so good for football in general because people can stop talking about it’s too attacking or whatever.
“How on earth can you play too attacking football?”
