Arnautovic injury could see Felipe Anderson become West Ham’s new talisman
West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic is set to be out of action until 2019, .
The Austrian international limped off against Cardiff City on Tuesday to be replaced by Lucas Perez, and it has now been determined that he suffered a hamstring injury.
The forward limped off after 40 minutes at the London Stadium, but his teammates were able to grind out a 3-1 win without him.
It’s a huge blow for the Hammers, without Arnautovic having been the club’s best player for the past year now.
The forward has been brilliant for the Irons following his £24 million move from Stoke City in the summer of 2017 (), after former boss David Moyes moved him into a central striking position.
