Are these Spurs and Chelsea stars some of Belgium’s key men for Euro 2016?
Eden Hazard
Last season, Eden Hazard set the Barclays Premier League alight but has struggled to recapture anything like the form he had last campaign – with him having a large say in Chelsea lifting the Premier League trophy last term.
However, towards the end of the season, Hazard began to remind us all what he really is capable of, scoring some majestic goals for the Blues, as he began to rediscover his form at a crucial time with the European Championships looming.
In particular, the landmark goal against Spurs which handed the Premier League title to Leicester City demonstrated once again the true class which he is capable of.
When on form, Hazard’s power and skill is comparable to Welshman Gareth Bale, making him a genuine and concerted threat, and one of Belgium’s most vital players as he can single-handedly change the outcome of a match.
For the sake of Belgium and indeed the tournament itself, it would be ideal to see the real Eden Hazard over the next month or so.
