Anwar El Ghazi told ‘don’t go to Everton’ as Aston Villa loanee announces Premier League interest
Aston Villa loanee Anwar El Ghazi has been discussing his future this week.he made it clear his hope was to send Aston Villa to the Premier League. He is currently on loan at the club from Lille and his recent good form has helped Aston Villa to the Championship play-off final.
However, he also made it clear that there is interest from current Premier League clubs. The panel on the Dutch TV show, which included Dutch players Andy van der Meyde, Jetro Willems and Theo Jansen, then tried to figure out who the club might be.

One team that was brought up, considering director of football Marcel Brands’ Dutch links, was Everton. At which point, Andy van der Meyde, a former Toffee, informed El Ghazi ‘don’t go to Everton’.
Of course, there is no suggestion that Everton are the team interested in the two-cap Netherlands international.
But for Everton fans, it is still amusing to hear the former winger, who had a tumultuous time at Everton under Goodison Park, make such a remark.
Aston Villa fans, however, will hope that he does end up a Premier League player next season … but at Villa Park.
