Antonio Conte says Tottenham have a ‘world class’ talent who ‘shows desire every day’ in training
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has described Harry Kane as a “world class” player who “shows desire every day in training”.
The Spurs boss has also vowed to make the N17 talisman an even better player.
Kane struggled early on this season for Tottenham after reportedly trying to leave Spurs last summer.

The 28-year-old registered just one goal and one assist in the Premier League up until early December.
However, Kane has shown a big improvement in form from mid-December onwards.
The England captain has claimed seven goals in his last 11 games in all competitions for Tottenham.
He has four goals and one assist from his last six Premier League games, and three goals from two FA Cup appearances.
In addition, Kane is now “super-happy” under Conte at Spurs, Fabrizio Romano .
“He has to be a point of reference”
Speaking ahead of Tottenham’s home meeting with Southampton, Conte waxed lyrical about his star striker.
“Surely when you have a player like Harry, you have to try to involve him in your tactical idea of football,” quotes Conte as saying.
“He’s an important player for us and he has to be a point of reference when we develop our football offensively.
“We’re trying to work with him in many aspects. I think every single player can improve until he decides to stop his career.
“We’re talking about a really good person who shows desire every day in training.
“He’s available for his teammates and is always ready to speak about football. To improve and to see new tactical situations.
“I repeat: We’re talking about a world-class striker and I’m trying to help him to become also better and better.
“Me, my staff on the physical aspect are working – but not only with him, with all the team.
“To reduce the gap, it’s very important to improve every single player in many aspects.
“If this player is Kane we’re talking about a world-class striker, but it’s the same with (Dane) Scarlett.
“We have to improve every single player in this way to be more competitive as a team than before.”

Daniel Levy pulled off masterstroke in landing Antonio Conte – TBR View
You can’t really blame Kane for seemingly wanting to leave Spurs in the summer.
Tottenham looked like they were regressing following their impressive run to the Champions League final in 2019.
They didn’t look like a club capable of delivering silverware in the near future.
And Nuno Espirito Santo’s appointment wasn’t the most confidence-inspiring, it has to be said.
But credit to Daniel Levy for quickly bringing in Conte, and Spurs now look like a club on the up again.
Not only does Kane look happy again, but Conte and Fabio Paratici have the pulling power to bring in top players.
