Antonio Conte says Tottenham have a ‘fantastic’ player in their ranks, claims he’s very unusual
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has told how much he’s enjoying coaching Harry Kane.
The Spurs manager suggested Kane was kind of unusual in that he’s an incredibly talented player who works so hard to improve.
Kane is one of the best players in world football, an incredible centre-forward who also plays in a role akin to a No. 10.
The Spurs talisman is back to his best following a difficult start to the season.
Manchester City were linked with Kane last summer. However, Daniel Levy played hardball over his signature and the player stayed put.
The England captain struggled early on in the campaign. But since Antonio Conte took the Tottenham reins, he is once again in great form.
Kane now has 23 goals and nine assists from 47 Spurs appearances this term. This includes 13 goals and eight assists in the Premier League.
Tottenham remain in pursuit of a Champions League place, though they’ll need to beat Arsenal to have a decent chance of leapfrogging them into the top four.
Kane has already written his name in Spurs history, but he’ll endear himself even further to the fans if he scores against the Gunners en route to a long-awaited Champions League return.

The conversation got to Kane, and the Italian was eager to talk up his player’s qualities.
“We are talking about a world class striker and an incredible player,�he said. “It’s a pleasure for me to be his coach. He’s a fantastic player but I want to underline his human aspects.
“Usually when you have players with great talent sometimes they don’t want to work in the same way with the other players and they are a bit lazy. They think only because they have talent they can’t improve.
“But instead we are talking about a player who has great desire to improve himself. He’s always a great example in training for all his training.�/p>
