Antonio Conte offers verdict on Dele Alli display in Tottenham draw
Antonio Conte that he thought Dele Alli produced a good performance as Tottenham Hotspur drew with Liverpool on Sunday.
Spurs have maintained their unbeaten start to life under Conte in the Premier League. They more than played their part in a stunning game with the Reds in North London.

There were four goals, one red card and a number of contentious decisions. But there were also a host of missed chances from both sides.
Certainly, one of the best fell to Dele, who was making his first league start under Conte amid doubts over his future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Unfortunately, the 25-year-old was denied by a world-class save from Alisson in the Liverpool goal. It looked to be an encouraging display from Dele given how little he has played over the last few months.

And Conte explained after the full-time whistle that he was happy with what he saw from the England international.
“Dele, for me, he played a good game,” . “And I think, with this formation, with the three midfielders, he can play as a midfielder. I think he’s strong physically, he’s good technically. He’s good in penetration. The performance was good.”
Conte getting best out of Dele Alli could be massive for Tottenham
Dele is facing an uphill battle trying to prove himself at Tottenham. The likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Ryan Mason and Nuno Espírito Santo have all ended up struggling to fit the midfielder in their plans.
The early signs looked to be ominous for Dele. But his display against Liverpool looks to have the potential to prove a real turning point.
The onus is on the former MK Dons man to make the most of this opening. It could be huge for Spurs if Conte does manage to reignite Dele’s career.
