Antonio Conte decided to keep ‘amazing’ Tottenham man this summer, but he may need to find new club in January – TBR View
Japhet Tanganga looked set to move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer and he may need to find a new club in January.
But the 23-year-old has only made one appearance for Tottenham this season, which came on Wednesday as a substitute against Marseille.
And if Tanganga doesn’t get a chance in the team soon, he may need to seek a move away from the club when the transfer market reopens.

Conte decided to keep Tanganga
Conte has plenty of options for the three centre-back roles at Spurs, with the likes of Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, Ben Davies, Clement Lenglet and Davinson Sanchez in the squad.
And at this moment in time, Tanganga seems to be at the bottom of the pile.
The Spurs academy product did get a run in the team under Conte last season as his backline was hit with injuries. But he has failed to force his way back into the side ever since.
The English defender only played 11 games in the Premier League last season and is yet to make an appearance in the competition this season.
Indeed, Tanganga’s progress has been hindered by recurring injuries but if he is to continue his development, he will need to start playing regular first-team football.
And it doesn’t seem likely that he will get the chance to do that at Spurs.

Conte is clearly keen on having a big squad at Tottenham this season as he aims to compete in all competitions.
But if Tanganga doesn’t start to feature more regularly soon, it may be for the best if Spurs allow their academy product to leave on loan.
Premier League clubs such as Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have reportedly shown interest in the player.
A move to another Premier League side would be ideal for Tottenham and Tanganga as the player can rack up some valuable experience in the league.
Ex-Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has benefitted massively from making the switch to AC Milan for regular first-team football.
He was even called up Gareth Southgate’s England squad last season and if Tanganga wants to follow a similar path, he may have to leave in January.
