Antonio Conte calls up ‘really creative’ 18-year-old to Spurs training pre-West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur will hope to break their sequence of alternating victories and defeats this weekend.
Antonio Conte’s charges host London rivals West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
It’s been a frustrating few weeks for the Spurs contingent and fanbase, given their lack of consistency.

Tottenham have pulled off some superb victories over the past month or so.
They’ve beaten Manchester City, thrashed Leeds and Everton, and seen off Brighton.
But in between those games, Spurs have also lost to Burnley, Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, and Manchester United.
Ahead of the West Ham clash, Conte has been putting his players through their paces in training.
On Friday, the Tottenham media team published photos of a session at Hotspur Way.
Some academy players were also taking part, with Romaine Mundle pictured alongside the first-teamers.
The 18-year-old winger has come through the ranks at Spurs and earned promotion to the Under-23s last summer.
Last season, Mundle starred for the Under-18s, getting three goals and seven assists.
Such was his talent that he got three Premier League 2 (U23) appearances under his belt in 2020-21.
Mundle is yet to make his competitive senior Spurs debut but was on the bench against Pacos de Ferreira in August.

“He is a real team player”
In July last year, wrote a detailed feature article on Mundle.
“Capable of operating as a winger on either flank, Mundle can also play as a CAM or as a central midfielder,” began the article.
“A really creative player who is quick and direct with the ball out on the flanks, (Mundle) is so reliable on the ball and he rarely loses possession.
“A player who takes up intelligent forward positions both out wide and in the oppositions penalty area, he is a good passer of the ball and I have always been impressed with his crosses into the box.
“A very technical footballer who is really skilful on the ball, the player who has been at Spurs for a long time tracks back and helps out the full-back well also, and he is a real team player.
“He is capable of beating players for skill alone, and his ability to pick a pass and get a really good amount of assists has made him a really important player for the Spurs Under 18 side over the last couple of seasons.”
