Anton Ferdinand delighted with announcement now coming from West Ham
West Ham have been busy on the recruitment front this summer with eight new signings – although an announcement has now been made that has nothing to do with transfers, one Anton Ferdinand is very pleased about.
Tim Steidten, Director of Football at the London Stadium, has worked tirelessly to bolster Julen Lopetegui’s squad with the additions of Luis Guilherme, Max Kilman, 🦄Jean-Clair Todibo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Niclas Fullkrug, Crysencio Summe🥀rville and Wes Foderingham.
So, what announcement has Anton Ferdinand now reacted to at West Ham? Let’s take a look…

TBR Football understands Kurt Zouma is🔯 expected to leave West Ham this summer – so the England international h🍰as now been giv⛎en the armband.
Afte🍌r hearing the news, Ferdinand wrote “El capo 🔥🔥🔥🔥 well deserved ⚒️⚒️” on Instagram in the comments section of West Ham’s announcement.

The West Ham No.20 has been given 𝐆the honour of captaining the Hammers after making 202 appearances in total for the Irons, scoring 60 goals while also providing 39 assists.
Time to create a legacy
Bowen now finds himself in a position where he can become a proper W♑est Ham legend.
The 27-year-old signed a new contract back in October which runs until 2030, meaning he has effectively committed himself to West Ham for the rest of his caree🍬r, enabling him to ignore outside speculation regaཧrding any potential exit and focus on giving 100% for the east Londoners.
Bowen is firmly settled i𓆉n east London, recently becoming a father of three with Dani Dyer – the dau♊ghter of Danny Dyer, a diehard West Ham fan – so it seems that everything is in place for him to cement himself amongst the greats of the club, such as Mark Noble.

In truth, having scored the goal which won the UEFA Conference League in 2023, some would argue that the man from Leominster already is a West Ham legend.
