‘What a signing that could be for Chelsea’
Ferdinand, speaking on FIVE, couldn’t sing the Chelsea talent’s praises highly enough.
“What a player he is,” he said. “I’m so surprised that City got rid of him
“I’ve done a segment on him on one of the shows previously – the boy is a joke.
“He’s got that Riyad Mahrez feel on the right-hand side… like drop the shoulder.
“And by the way, he can strike a ball properly.
“The fact that he’s in a Chelsea team and he’s going ‘oh the penalties on mine’ tells you about his character for one.
“But what a signing that could be for Chelsea.”
Chelsea have struck gold in signing Palmer. At just 21 years old, he’s shown he’s got what it takes to shine in the Premier League.
Not only that, but it’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop. If all goes well, he’ll be a superstar by the time he’s in his mid to late twenties.
