Anthony Gordon says striker Chelsea signed for £24m was even better than Sergio Aguero
Chelsea have had some top class strikers over the years.
The likes of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Diego Costa aꦑnd Nicolas Anelka are all Premier Leagu🔥e legends in their own right.
However, the most iconic Chelsea striker of the Premier League era is undoubtedly Didier Drogba.
The Ivorian was an all-time great for the Blues. He scored important goals in important moments, and he played 🌳a huge part in the west London club’s success in the mid-2000s.
Speaking on , Anthony Gordon has been ranking some of the best Premier League strikers in histo﷽ry, and he’s spoken highly of Drogba.

Indeed, Gordon put Drogba fourth in his list of great strikers ahead of some huge nam🐓es such as Sergio Aguero, Eric Cantona and Dennis Bergkamp.
This is an interesting conversation, and one that will divide 🍃fans of a number of clubs.
Supporters of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal will all have different feelings towards t⛄he aforementioned players, but, in our view, Gordon isn’t too far off being wrong here.
Drogba had it all as a striker, and while he may not have had the technical ability of a player like ♔Bergkamp, he combined the very best of all of thes🥃e players.
He scored the big goals in the same way Cantona did, and while Sergio Aguero had a better goals-to-game ratio than Drogba, Drogba’s best goalscoring season was still better than anything we sꦅaw 🌞from Aguero at City.
Drogba may not be the best st𓆏riker in Premier League history, but he’s certainly in the conversation, and when it comes to big games, there’s not a single player in the history o♕f this division who we’d rather have leading our line.
The signing of Drogba all those years ago may well be one of the best signings we’ve eve🌠r seen in the P🍌remier League.
