Anthony Gordon says he’d love to sign £54m Man City player for Newcastle United

Newcastle United may be the richest club in world football, but that doesn’t mean they can just sign whoever they like.

Indeed, as t༒he Magpi♔es have discovered this summer, Profit and Sustainability rules are very much real, and Newcastle can’t just sign whichever players they want.

Speaking to Fubo, Anthony Gordon has been discussing who he would sign if he could bring any player to Newcastle,ꩲ and he gave an interesting answer.

Indeed, rather than choosing someone like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland or even his toughest ever opponent, Mohamed Salah, Gordon stated that he’d love to sign Kevin De Bruyne for Newcastle, claiming that he’d get tons more chances if the Belg🌳ian arrived at St J📖ames’ Park.

Anthony Gordon would want Kevin De Bruyne at Newcastle

Gordon na🃏med𒈔 the man as his ideal Newcastle signing.

“If you could add one player to this Newcastle squad who would it be aꦅnd why?” Gordon was asked.

“☂I would have to go Kevin De Bruyne. I think I’d get more one on one chances due to his special ability to play passes,” Gordon said.

Anthony Gordon and Kevin De Bruyne would be an incredible duo

Gordon is dreaﷺming about playing alongside De Bruyne, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Indeed, De Bruyne may well be the best passer in Premier League history, and given Gordo♌n has an incredible ability to make well-timed and fast runs in behind opposition defences, this could be a deadly duo.

Gordon is already a real danger as things stand, but if he had a once-in-a-generation playmaker l𝄹ike De Bruyne behind him, he would be unstoppable.

Unfortunately for Newcastle, it’s hard to imagine De Bruyne ever heading to 💫St James’ 💜Park.

De Bruyne is a City legend, and if he were to leave Manchester, it’s hard to imagine that he’d join anothe✨r Premier League club at this po🔯int.

De Bruyne and Gordon would be incredible together, but, sadl♕y, we’re unlikely to ever see this duo united.
