Angus Kinnear mocks £20,000-a-week Leeds man in his pre-West Ham programme notes

Writing his programme notes before Leeds took on West Ham earlier today, Angus Kinnear mocked Adam Forshaw for his penalty on Tuesday.
What’s the story?
Well, it was a lighthearted mocking, but a mocking nonetheless.
At Craven Cottage on Tuesday, Forshaw had the chance to put Leeds 4-2 up on penalties in the Carabao Cup third round.
Fortunately for him, Marcelo Bielsa’s side still managed to progress into the fourth round, and Kinnear can now see the funny side of it.
In today’s programme, Kinnear wrote: “As I left Craven Cottage, and Adam Forshaw’s penalty was given clearance to re-enter UK airspace, there was a shared excitement from supporters.”

It came just after he also aimed a dig at Jürgen Klopp for entering the field of play at Elland Road during Liverpool’s 3-0 win.
Clearly, Kinnear was in the mood for stand-up comedy.
Where was Adam Forshaw in Leeds vs West Ham?

Unfortunately, Forshaw was nowhere to be seen at Elland Road earlier.
The 29-year-old suffered another slight injury problem after the win over Fulham, but Bielsa confirmed that he’d be available when speaking in his pre-match .
The Argentine said: “Forshaw is finishing the recovery of his injury. For next week he will be available.”
So, we’re not quite sure what’s happened since.

Hopefully, it’s nothing serious.
Forshaw, of course, missed over 700 days due to injury, and has only recently returned to action.
If he’s suffered a reoccurrence of his original problem, it would be simply heartbreaking – especially as Leeds are already quite light in midfield.
