Angus Kinnear highlights his first action at Leeds United and it shows great compassion for players
Leeds United were given a huge fright recently when young talent Jack Clarke fell ill on the substitutes bench at Middlesbrough.
The wing wizard had come off at half-time and had to receive medical treatment after becoming unwell watching on. Initial fears of anything very serious appear to have been allayed and Leeds fans will hope to see him in action soon.

Angus Kinnear appeared to confirm as much in the Leeds United programme notes in midweek. , he also revealed a huge change that the current regime made which shows a greater compassion then perhaps from previous Leeds regimes.
“Despite the situation being deeply concerning for players and backroom staff alike, the fact is there are few better places for an individual to suffer such an incident than sitting in between head of medicine Rob Price and first-team doctor Rahul Lakhera.
“Only a couple of years ago the club wasn’t taking a doctor on away trips and this was the first thing we addressed when we became custodians.”
Andrea Radrizzani appointed Kinnear during his first week in charge of the club and it appears, before looking for new players or renewing new contracts, Leeds’ new managing director’s most pressing issue was to ensure the wellbeing of Leeds players on away days.
It certainly paints the current hierarchy in a good light and Leeds fans must feel more connected to the likes of Radrizzani and Kinnear, then they did in the past during the control of previous owners.
