Ange Postecoglou still really wants Tottenham to sign £9m player this summer
After completing some admirable work this month already, it seems Tottenham Hotspur are now putting transfer plans in place for the next summer.
The arrivals of Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin proved just how productive the relationship between Ange Postecoglou and Daniel Levy is proving to be.

Spurs seem aligned on their vision and execution – something that can’t be said for all Premier League clubs.
And although Spurs could still have one more deal up their sleeve this month – they’re increasingly keen on one midfielder.
It seems plans are now being put in place for the summer.
And as well as interest in a La Liga winger, Tottenham are said to want Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura next summer.
The Japanese defender is excelling in the Bundesliga, and it seems as if the club could now achieve an excellent deal.
As well as confirming Spurs’ interest, German journalist has now disclosed a release clause that will be active next summer.
Plettenberg, who has been hot on all of the news involving Harry Kane and Eric Dier in the past, shared his latest update on X.
Journalist confirms that Tottenham really want to sign defender Ko Itakura next summer
Plettenberg said Itakura could be available for as little as £9m next summer, representing excellent value for the 26-year-old.

He said: “News Ko Itakura: The amount of his release clause in summer is €10-15m!
“M‘Gladbach would like to extend his contract beyond 2026 as the 26 y/o defender is one of the key players.
“Tottenham and Postecoglou, still keen on the player!”
And despite recruiting Radu Dragusin this month, there is definitely space for further reinforcements at the back for Spurs.
Perhaps some fans may be slightly surprised that Tottenham are targeting a left-footed centre-back next summer, though.
It appears that Dragusin will be Cristian Romero’s understudy at first.
Micky van de Ven still doesn’t have a left footed alternative at centre-back, unless you count the versatile Ben Davies.
Despite all of Tottenham’s progress this month there’s clearly still work to be done.
However, the good news is that they are clearly wasting no time.
That being said, Jamie Carragher has now made a bold prediction over where Spurs will finish in the league this season.
