Ange Postecoglou ‘really pleased’ after two recent changes to his coaching team at Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have seen a number of changes take place this summer with players coming and going.
Granted, there has only been one permanent signing so far with Archie Gray arriving from Leeds United earlier in the window.
But Tottenham have seen plenty of departures with Ange Postecoglou allowing numerous players to find new clubs.
The exits have not been limited to players with Postecoglou also losing some of his coaching staff.
Chris Davies was the noteworthy exit this summer as the Spurs assistant secured himself his first managerial role at Birmingham City.
Following his exit, there have been some changes made behind the scenes and Postecoglou has shared his honest thoughts on the arrivals.

Ange Postecoglou delighted with coaching staff appointments
Even this week, Spurs saw Jermain Defoe announce his immediate parting with the club from his coaching role with the U18s.
Spurs have added Sergio Raimundo and Nick Montgomery to Postecoglou’s coaching staff ahead of the new campaign.
But there will still be some familiar faces around Hotspur Way for the players with the likes of Ryan Mason, Matt Wells and Mile Jedinak still at the club.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s pre-season opener against Hearts, Postecoglou discussed the changes made behind the scenes.
“In sport you’re constantly evolving and changes are being made. Obviously, with Chris Davies moving on, he did a great job for us last year, but that gives us an opportunity to change things up a little bit, some different voices, and really pleased to get Nick and Sergio in,” Postecoglou said.
“Both bring sort of different skill sets, different personalities. They really try to implement a football that’s sort of close to what we’re trying to do here. I just think they’ll bring a real good energy to the club. They’re super excited to be here, which I think is great for the players.”
Big changes at Spurs ahead of the 2024/25 campaign
Although a lot remains the same with only one new player signed this summer, there will be a lot of change from last season.
Tottenham are going to need to be prepared for a much busier 2024/25 campaign with Europa League football set to clog up their fixture list.
The new season will see changes made to the European tournaments which will require teams to play an extra two games in the qualifying round.
If Spurs are to succeed this season, Postecoglou is going to have to manage his squad well with rotation potentially the key to competing across all fronts.
