Ange Postecoglou issues warning to his Tottenham players who are returning from international duty
Tottenham Hotspur are returning from the international break with a major point to prove following an underwhelming start to the season.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side have won as many games as they have lost in the Premier League so far this term with three in each column.
This has Tottenham sitting in ninth spot of the Premier League table and four points off the top four – despite their struggles.
Spurs have gone well in the Europa League so far with two wins from their opening two games which will provide a lot of optimism.
But there is a notoriously difficult game on the horizon for the Lilywhites as they return from the international break in Saturday’s early kick off.
And the Tottenham manager is seemingly ready to welcome the international players back following their capitulation at Brighton last time out.

What Ange Postecoglou has warned his international players
Tottenham could not have gone into the international break on the back of a worse result in their game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Lilywhites were in good form across all competitions going into the game and even managed to take a two-goal lead into half time.
But allowing three goals in the second half put a really frustrating mood around the club with three points chucked away once again before the international break.
Speaking to , Postecoglou has admitted the players returning from international duty are not in for an easy ride having missed the fall out from the Brighton loss.
“You know what it’s like before international football, the game finishes and everyone goes, the dressing room after the game is not the time to analyse,” said the Australian.
“So I’ve been sitting on it for 10 days mate I’m ready to explode when they get back in the building.”
Tottenham need to beat West Ham convincingly
If Tottenham do not come out of the game against the Hammers with all three points then there is going to be some real questions asked.
Heung-min Son is expected to return to the Tottenham squad for the game on Saturday after suffering an injury issue.
Postecoglou has the large majority of his players available so there are very little excuses to be made with the Lilywhites needing a big result.
There is still plenty of time for Tottenham to turn their turbulent start to the season around but anything other than a win on Saturday will surely leave the fans questioning the season ahead.
