Ange Postecoglou could start ‘world-class’ Tottenham player for the first time since February vs West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur take on West Ham United tonight, and Ange Postecoglou could make a few changes to his side.
Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-place Aston Villa. The North Londoners have a game in hand over Unai Emery’s side as well.
Tottenham have a great chance of pipping Villa to fourth spot this season, and a win against West Ham tonight will push Spurs level on points with them.
Ange Postecoglou would love nothing more tonight, and the Tottenham boss has hinted he could start one of his players for the first time in over a month.

Tottenham star could start vs West Ham for the first time since February
Tottenham will go into the game against West Ham United tonight as the favourites, but Spurs’ recent record at the London Stadium is not great.
The North Londoners last won at the Hammers’ home ground all the way back in November 2019.
We’re sure that record won’t fill Spurs fans with a lot of confidence, but West Ham have been in shocking form recently. They’ve won just two games in the Premier League since the turn of the year.
Ange Postecoglou will want nothing but a win tonight, and he could start Richarlison up front against the Hammers.
The Brazilian last started a game for Spurs on the 17th of February, in the 2-1 defeat against Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He had been suffering from a knee injury, but Postecoglou confirmed in his press conference yesterday that Richarlison is fully fit now.
“Yeah, yeah, he was much better after the game and he felt a lot better, Postecoglou said, as per .
“He trained yesterday (Sunday) and he’ll train this (Monday) afternoon. He feels good now.”
Stats show serious improvement in Richarlison since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival
Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton last year for a big fee of £60 million ().
The ‘’ Brazilian was under pressure to perform from the very first game of the season, but unfortunately for him, he really struggled. Antonio Conte‘s defensive system didn’t help him either.
Since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival, however, Richarlison has been really good. He has looked like a totally different player after his surgery in November.
The 26-year-old has 11 goals and three assists to his name so far this season. That’s a huge improvement on the three goals and four assists he managed for Tottenham in the whole of last season.
Richarlison also averages 2.4 shots per game this term, which is significantly higher than the one per game he managed last time around.
Postecoglou’s arrival has given a big boost to Richarlison, and we feel the best is yet to come from the Brazil international.
