Andy Robertson shares what Klopp said after Origi scored vs Barcelona
Andy Robertson that Jurgen Klopp completely missed that goal from Divock Origi that sent Liverpool into the Champions League final at the expense of Barcelona in 2019.
In one of the most remarkable and incredible ties of all-time, Liverpool bounced back from a heavy first-leg defeat to set up a final with Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.

Barca blew Klopp’s side away in the Nou Camp and took a 3-0 lead to Anfield. For many, the tie was done halfway through. However, for Liverpool, the ultimate comeback was still possible.
It was Origi who broke the deadlock inside seven minutes. Unfortunately for Robertson, he had to be taken off at the break as Liverpool remained at the foot of an uphill battle.

But Anfield drove the Reds on after the break. Georginio Wijnaldum evoked memories of Istanbul by scoring twice in quick succession in the 10 minutes before the hour-mark to level the tie on aggregate.
‘What happened?’: Robertson shares Klopp reaction to Origi goal against Barcelona
But it was Origi who would further secure his place in folklore. A piece of brilliance from Trent Alexander-Arnold saw the right-back take a corner quickly while Barca were switched off. Origi however, was aware and caressed the ball into the top corner to send the ground into a frenzy.
Liverpool fans would be forgiven for taking a breather while Alexander-Arnold started to amble away from the corner, just as Barcelona attempted to. But it turns out that the goal also caught Klopp off-guard as Robertson shed light on the events of that famous night.
“I came off injured at half-time so I missed the second and third goal,” . “I was in the shower and someone kept running and going, ‘goal, goal’.
“So I went out at 3-0 and I remember the fourth goal went in and the manager turned round to me and said: ‘What happened?’ He never saw it because he was talking. I think Trent even took it too quickly for him. And I just remember hugging him like I don’t care.”
