Andy Robertson has sent a message to his former Liverpool teammate Xherdan Shaqiri after facing him at Euro 2024 yesterday.
Scotland and Andy Robertson꧙ were aiming to bounce back after a heavy 5-1 defeat to Germany last week.
The Liverpool♔ star put in an improved display at left-back and helped the Scots pick up a 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Wednesday evening.
It leaves Scotland needing a win against Dominik Szoboszlai﷽’s Hungary in the final group game to be in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
Scotland were unfortunate not to pick up all three points last night and Robertson faced a familiar face in Xherdan Shaqiri.
♌It was Shaqiri’s stunning effort from range which ultimately denied the Scots a crucial three points and Robertson has sent his former teammate a message on social media.

Following last night’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland at Euro 2024🍸, Robertson took to and sent a message to Shaqiri.
He wrote: “Good to see you my roomie.”

Shaqiri’s career after Liverpool exit
♑Shaqiri left Liverpool back in the summer of 2021 as he made the switch to Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
