Andreas Pereira the kind of deal West Ham should seek to improve
A summer move looks inevitable for Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira, as Brazilian outlet say that he will run down the remaining six months of his contract at Old Trafford and leave on a free transfer.
West Ham, Arsenal and Everton are all reported to be in the running for the Brazilian’s signature, but it is a deal which the Hammers should be pushing for harder than any of their rivals in the race.
The club have struggled to make profits on recent signings, but in picking up the 23-year-old on a free, they would surely see his value soar as well as adding some much needed depth into the middle of the park.

The addition of Jack Wilshere this summer, also on a free transfer, has failed to fill the gap as the ex-Arsenal man has continued to be plagued by injuries. However, Pereira does not have a concerning past which would suggest such a weakness.
Pereira has made just two Premier League starts this season but was a regular for Valencia in La Liga last campaign, making 29 appearances as the Spanish side returned to the Champions League.
West Ham could offer regular game time to the Brazilian whilst also adding youth and depth to their squad. With that in mind, it is a deal that they must pursue this summer.
