‘Amazing’… Tomas Soucek says £42m West Ham player works incredibly hard behind the scenes
West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek has now been praising one of his teammates ahead of their second leg with SC Freiburg tomorrow.
David Moyes will welcome the German side to the London Stadium tomorrow and will attempt to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

It’ll certainly be intriguing to see which eleven Moyes chooses for the game given all the chopping and changing in recent weeks.
Kalvin Phillips was handed a surprise start against Burnley on the weekend, only to be hooked at half-time when things weren’t going so well.
Danny Ings obviously then had a big impact when he was introduced later in the game too.
It’s certainly one for the West Ham boss to ponder, and he will need to get the balance right.
That being said, there seems little doubt that Tomas Soucek will take his spot in the West Ham team, a player who’s skill set is hard to replace.
And when speaking at the ahead of tomorrow’s tie with Freiburg, Soucek did actually take a moment to praise Kalvin Phillips who is clearly having a ‘difficult’ time.
Tomas Soucek says Kalvin Phillips is working seriously hard in West Ham training
Speaking alongside Moyes, Soucek recognised Phillips’ tough start at the club but said he’s working incredibly hard to improve things behind the scenes.
He explained: “He’s amazing in training, but it’s difficult for him to have not played that many games over the last couple of years.

“He’s a really hard worker, and he’ll be an important player for us.”
Of course, we’ve all seen just how good Phillips can be when playing for Leeds United and England in the past.
Therefore, West Ham fans must still retain hope that the will find his confidence and form again.
It remains to be seen if the England international will still be picked in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the game this month, with an announcement expected imminently.
That being said, Danny Murphy has now shared what he’s been hearing about that situation from recent conversations he’s had.
