‘Amazing’… Ben Davies says player Tottenham sold for £17m was always incredible in training

Ben Davies has played with some amazing players during his time at Tottenham.

The Welshman has had the pleasure of calling the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son his teammates for a number of years, and it’s fair to say he’s seen plenty of quality over his time at Tottenham.

Speaking on the , Davies has been discussing some of the best players he’s ever trained with at Spurs, and he says that Christian Eriksen is the one play𓃲er who stood out above everyone elꦉse, claiming that he’s such a clever player with bags of quality.

Christian Eriksen was incredible in Tottenham training

Davies spoke a💃bou𝓰t playing alongside Eriksen at Spurs.

“The one who probably stood out was Christian Eriksen. He wasn’t a physical or dominating player, he just had so much qualitᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚy. He got the ball and had so much more time than anyone else. What he was amazing at, he’s like a manager on the pitch, he dictates the game, he slows it down, that’s not the stuff that gets plaudits, that will be the free-kicks and the through balls, but his ability to control the 11 around you, he’s one of the best for me,” Davies said.

Christian Eriksen was exceptional

It’s not at all surp༒rising to hear that Eriksen was one of the best players in Tottenham training.

As Davies says, Eriksen may not be the fastest or strongest player, but, te🎐chnically, there weren’t many at Spurs who could hold a candle to the Dane.

Ben Davies isn’t the only player to say this about Eriksen either. Kieran Trippier said similar about his time alongside the midfielder at Totte🐷nham.

The midfielder is an incredible footballer to this day, and while he hasn’t had his best season at Manchester United, he stil💞l has those moments of absolute brilliance.

Davies was very lucky to play with Eriksen, and he was one of Tottenham’s very best players 🐠for a long time before his move to Inter Milan a few years ago.
