‘Always’… Player who left Arsenal in 2019 now admits he still watches the Gunners
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he still watches his old side regularly.
Petr Cech left Arsenal back in 2019 as he hung up his boots following an exceptional 15-year spell in the Premier League.
While the shot-stopper was past his best by the time he retired at Arsenal, he still scooped an FA Cup and two Community Shields during his spell in north London.

The Czech Republic goalkeeper left the Emirates Stadium just a few months before Mikel Arteta replaced Unai Emery.
But Cech has insisted that he still watches his former side and even believed Arteta’s men would win the title last season.
Petr Cech admits he still watches Arsenal games
Speaking on , Cech admitted that he keeps up to date with both Arsenal and Chelsea games.
“I watch, of course,” Cech admitted. “You always watch clubs where you spent 11 years, I watch all my clubs. I watch Chelsea.
“I watch Arsenal. I thought they were going to make that last step last year but they didn’t.
“I always watch because you have the connection to the people and the fans and you want them to be happy, so you hope they will get what they want.”

Cech spent four years at the Emirates after leaving London rivals Chelsea back in 2015.
He’s undoubtedly one of the Premier League’s greatest goalkeepers after winning four titles at Stamford Bridge.
The Czech’s spell at Arsenal didn’t exactly go according to plan as he approached the latter stages of his career. But Arsenal supporters will surely be glad to hear that Cech still keeps a keen eye on their progress under Arteta.
While he’s likely to favour Chelsea after spending his best years in west London, it’s clear that he enjoyed his spell at Arsenal.
