‘Almost immediately’: Tottenham want to get rid of £32m player as soon as possible
Sergio Reguilon is back at Tottenham.
The left-back’s loan spell at Manchester United has been cut short, and now, he’s back at Spurs.
However, by the sounds of it, he won’t be back in north London for too long.
Indeed, Reguilon remains very much out of the picture in Ange Postecoglou’s plans, and according to Tom Allnutt, speaking on , Spurs want to get rid of Reguilon as quickly as possible.

Tottenham want to get rid of Reguilon
Allnutt shared what he knows about the man.
“I think he’s keen to resurrect his career really, I think he wants to go somewhere he’ll be number one left-back and will be playing properly. I think there will be interest in him from Premier League teams and also back in Spain,” Allnutt said.
“Ange has seen what Reguilon can do and has basically decided it’s not for him. He looks like a good left-back sometimes, but it lacks the polish at the end and defensively he isn’t brilliant enough to make up for that. I think Spurs will try to ship him out almost immediately, either on loan again or if they can get a fee for him I think they will.”
More movement
Reguilon coming back from United early may not prove to be a bad thing.
As Allnutt says, Spurs can now get a fee for Reguilon this month, and, in theory, that could allow more movement on the transfer front as more cash is freed up.
Of course, how much any team would be willing to pay for Reguilon these days remains to be seen, but at the age of 27, the left-back is certainly worth a punt.
It hasn’t worked out for the Spaniard at Tottenham, but Reguilon is still a very decent player who should be able to shine wherever he ends up next.
