Alex Scott now reacts on Instagram after Alfie Devine’s debut for Plymouth Argyle yesterday

Alex Scott has sent a message to Alfie Devine after the Tottenham Hotspur youngster made his debut for Plymouth Argyle yesterday.

Alfie Devine꧋ got 77 minutes under his belt for Argyle in the 3-1 win over Cardiff City on Saturday. The 19-year-old joined the Championship outfit on a loan deal earlier this week after Spurs recalled him from his spell at Port Vale.

💫Devine caught the eye at Port Vale, having managed three goals and four assists in 27 appearances for the League One side.

Tottenham🎶 ultimately made the decision to step him up to Championship level and Devine made an instant impact on his debut on Saturday.

Scott sends message to Devine after Plymouth debut.

🔯Devine took to on Saturday evening and posted a series of pictures of himself in action.

🌳The likes of Alfie Dorrington and Dane Scarlett left comments beneath the post, while Scott also replied.

Scott was linked with a move to Spurs🌃 over the summer before sealing a move from Bristol City to Bournemouth.

The midfielder recently admitted he’s a Spurs fan and there have even been claims that Tottenham are continuing to monitor his progress.

♒As for Devine, it could prove to be an astute move from Tottenham to step him up to Championship level ahead of schedule.

Many Spurs fans were surprised when the club decided to recall him this week. But he has since linked up with Spurs teammate Ashley Phillips🥂 at Plymouth and based on his debut, he’s ready to play at that level.

🎐Devine was going well at Port Vale but playing in the Championship regularly should only benefit his development in the long-term.

Tottenham fans will undoubtedly be keeping a keen eye on his progress at Argyle and 𒁃Spurs are said to have ‘high hopes’ for the youngster.
