Alex Iwobi says it’s incredible to see what’s happened to ‘amazing’ Arsenal player
Arsenal have transformed a lot in recent years.
Indeed, Mikel Arteta has completely changed how this team works and operates, so much so that the starting XI is almost unrecognisable compared to a few years ago.
It feels as though Alex Iwobi was only breaking through at Arsenal a few years ago, but now, hardly any of his former teammates are still at the Emirates.
Iwobi did play alongside a few of the current crop of Arsenal stars, including Bukayo Saka.
In fact, Saka came on for Iwobi when he made his debut for Arsenal all those years ago.
Since then, Saka has propelled to superstardom, and while he’s yet to win a major trophy since the 2020 FA Cup, Arsenal have improved massively alongside the winger.
Speaking to , Iwobi has been discussing Saka’s rise to stardom at Arsenal, and he says it’s been amazing to see how much Saka has improved over the years.
Saka is a world-class player these days, and Iwobi remains a huge fan of his former teammate from afar.

Iwobi spoke about how Saka has grown and improved at Arsenal in recent years.
The Fulham star says it’s been great to see Saka improving, claiming that he’s always been a humble player who works so hard.
Iwobi has always been a fan of Saka, and while he’s playing for Fulham these days, he remains a huge admirer of his former teammate.
Saka played a part in ending Iwobi’s career at Arsenal with his breakthrough, but, it would appear there are no hard feelings here.
“What’s it like seeing him going on and doing these things at Arsenal?” Iwobi was asked.
“It’s nice to see because he’s such a humble guy, he’s always been hardworking. There are so many talented players at Arsenal, but he was the one who would just work hard and get on with it. It’s amazing to see how he’s blossomed into the player he is and the man he is,” Iwobi said.
Bukayo Saka’s improvement in numbers
Iwobi says it’s been amazing to see how Saka has improved in recent years, and he’s not wrong.
Saka has been remarkable for Arsenal over the past few years, and with each passing season, he seems to improve.
