Alasdair Gold suggests Tottenham will announce ‘phenomenal’ new signing as early as tomorrow
Alasdair Gold believes Tottenham Hotspur could announce Fraser Forster’s Spurs arrival as early as Thursday.

On Wednesday, claimed Forster was undergoing a medical at Hotspur Way.
The 34-year-old’s Southampton contract expires in the summer, but it looks as though he’s already found his new club.
Gold also claimed Forster was undergoing a medical at Tottenham.
He tipped the club to announce the England international’s arrival at N17 by the weekend.
“Fraser Forster, that looks like it’s going to be done now,” he said.
“Medical today taking place at Hotspur Way.
“I think it might be tomorrow it’s announced, either tomorrow or Friday.
“But certainly if the medical’s being done today it suggests, potentially, a tomorrow announcement.”
Gold then spoke of how Tottenham were seemingly closing in on Sam Johnstone, another out-of-contract keeper.
However, he said “something shifted” and, somewhere along the way, Tottenham decided to move for Forster instead.

Forster has clocked up nearly 450 competitive senior appearances at club level and has won six England caps.
He has won four Scottish Premiership titles, three Scottish Cups and one Scottish League Cup with Celtic.
Scott Bain, the Hoops’ second-choice stopper, lauded the reportedly imminent Spurs newcomer.
Forster delivered a masterclass in the 2019-20 Scottish League Cup final, between Celtic and Rangers.
The 6ft 7in ace kept out numerous seemingly goal-bound efforts and also saved an Alfredo Morelos penalty.
Speaking to the , Bain hailed his teammate and his performance that day.
“As a goalkeeper, you appreciate that performance massively,” he said of Forster.
“I remember watching the game from the stands that day.
“(I was) thinking, this is an unbelievable performance, and one of the best you’re going to see on such a big stage.
“We were thankful to have him, to get away with the win and to lift the cup.
“Fraser was fantastic that day. Once Rangers got the penalty, and once Fraser saved it, you thought, that’s it, it’s game over, they’re not going to get past him today. Since then, he’s been phenomenal.”
