Alasdair Gold shares what staff at Tottenham are already saying about Archie Gray’s attitude

Archie Gray is Tottenham’s latest recruit.

The former Leeds midfielder joined Spurs this week in a deal that saw Joe Rodon head in the opposite direction.

Gray is yet to kick a ball for Spurs, but it’s fair to say he’s already impressing.

Indeed, the midfielder came across very well in his first official interview with the club, and according to Alasdair Gold, speaking on the , Gray has also impressed with his general attitude.

Gold said that he’d spoken to some people at Tottenham, and they were quick to note how polite and grounded Gray is as a person.

Archie Gray’s attitude has impressed

Gold shared what people within Tottenham have already been saying about Gray.

“Yeah I was impressed by the interview. I thought he’s very confident in speaking and I spoke to a couple of people around the club after his couple of days he’d been in for and the feeling was very much that he’s a grounded, polite young guy, exactly as you’d hope for. No sense of an attitude or anything,” Gold said.

Gray’s attitude is impeccable

It’s not surprising at all to hear this.

Any 18-year-old who has made it to this sort of level is bound to have a brilliant attitude, and, by all accounts, Gray was very similar during his time at Leeds.

Indeed, during his time at Elland Road it was noted how much of a leader Gray seemed to be on the pitch, even as a teenager.

This is a player with a top-class mentality and a top-class attitude, and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if he ends up being captain material at Tottenham in the future once he’s matured and improved as a player.

This is a signing Spurs fans should be very excited about.
