Alasdair Gold shares what people at Tottenham have been saying about Brennan Johnson
Alasdair Gold has claimed that Brennan Johnson is a very popular figure behind the scenes at Tottenham Hotspur.
Brennan Johnson got the scoresheet on Sunday as Tottenham picked up a brilliant 4-0 win at Villa Park.
The 22-year-old is starting to find his feet at Spurs after a difficult opening few months at the club.
Johnson has netted three goals and registered four assists in his last 10 appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Despite some early criticism from supporters over Johnson’s displays, Postecoglou has insisted he’s made huge improvements already this season.
The Welshman joined last summer as Spurs paid to land the winger from Nottingham Forest.
And it would appear that he has already made quite the impression behind the scenes at Hotspur Way.
Johnson already very popular at Tottenham
Speaking on the podcast, Alasdair Gold shared what people at Spurs have made of Johnson’s start to life in north London.
“He’s a very well-liked guy around the club, he’s a very willing learner, very clever guy,” the journalist said.
“Very popular figure behind the scenes and very much, I’ve said before, but a real belief in what he can become.
“We’re only seeing the very early version of Brennan Johnson right now, he’s got all of the tools to be a real top player.”

You could argue that Johnson put in his best display in a Spurs shirt on Sunday.
While the winger has managed to provide in the final third and rack up 10 goal involvements, fans were often frustrated with his all-round displays.
But the Wales international showed real intent to beat his man on Sunday and caused Villa huge problems down the left-hand side.
He also linked up well with Destiny Udogie and looked far more comfortable while operating off the left-hand side.
