Now, finally, it looks as though they have found their Kane replacement.

Indeed, this one looks as though it could genuinely get over the line, and according to Alasdair Gold, there’s a lot of positivity around Tottenham that Solanke will indeed be coming in.

Gold says that there is plenty of positivity within Tottenham that a deal will get over the line, and it looks as though we could see some concrete movement on this front in the coming hours.
Solanke is coming off the back of the best season of his career, and Tottenham appear to be closing in on this signing.
Dominic Solanke has a huge opportunity
This could be a fantastic signing for Tottenham, but this is also a huge opportunity for Solanke to show what he’s all about.
Solanke has been here before. He’s had chances to show his worth at Liverpool and Chelsea previously, and he’s often failed to take those opportunities.
Now though, he’s returning to a top club as a much more mature and well-rounded player, and if he can impress at Tottenham, it surely won’ be long before he adds to his maiden England cap.
Solanke is set to act as Kane’s replacement at Tottenham, and who knows? If things go well for the striker at Spurs, he could well end up replacing Kane in the England team too.
There’s plenty of reason to be excited about this potential deal as Solanke closes in on a move to Spurs.
