Alasdair Gold says Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici is a big fan of Allan Saint-Maximin
Tottenham Hotspur‘s sporting director Fabio Paratici is a huge fan of Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin.
That’s according to Football London’s Alasdair Gold, who revealed in his that the Frenchman is very much appreciated by Paratici at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, a move this month isn’t on the cards.

Alasdair Gold says Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici is a big fan of Allan Saint-Maximin
Saint-Maximin has been linked with a move away from Newcastle United on numerous occasions over the past 18 months.
The Frenchman is one of the best dribblers in the Premier League, with Jamie Redknapp earlier this season.
Saint-Maximin, unfortunately, hasn’t had the greatest of luck this campaign. He missed eight games due to injury and hasn’t started once in the league for the Magpies since the game against Wolves back in August.
A Spurs fan asked Gold in his Q&A if Saint-Maximin could be an option for Antonio Conte in this window because he has started each of Newcastle’s last six league games on the bench. Gold revealed that Paratici really likes the winger, but he just does not see a move happening in this month’s transfer window.
The journalist : “Spurs have long been linked with Zaha and Paratici is a big fan of Saint-Maximin.
“Saint-Maximin has a long contract until 2026 so I can’t imagine he will come at a good price for a January window unless Newcastle have a sudden desire to get him out of the club which there currently does not seem any reason for.”

TBR View:
Newcastle are absolutely flying in the Premier League at the moment and they’re doing that without Saint-Maximin.
The Frenchman has often been seen as the Magpies’ best player over the last two years, but the way Eddie Howe has got his side to play this term without the 25-year-old regularly available is simply sensational.
Although it does seem like Newcastle don’t need Saint-Maximin, he could make a serious difference in the coming weeks and months – even if it’s just as a substitute.
We can’t see Howe and co selling him anytime soon as a result, but if they do, Tottenham and Paratici should jump in.
