According to , Spurs paid an initial £12.5m, but the🥂 fee could rise to £20m with ♍add-ons.

Spence arrived at N17 to considerable fanfare following hi𒁏s heroics on loan at Nottingham Forest.

The England Under-21 interna♌tional shone for the Reds en route to Premier League promoti💎on.

Howev♌er, Spence has 💮found game time hard to come by at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

To ✨date, he has only made one appearance – a brief cameo off the bench agaiꦚnst Forest.

Antonio Conte has that Spence is a pla🔯yer for the future of Spꦐurs.

“This won’t have come as a shock”

On his latest fan Q&A on , Gold was asked by a supporter when he felt Spence would get his first start♏.

𒐪“The games are going to come thick and fast after the international break with one every 3-4 days so Conte is going to have to rotate,” said Gold.

“All you need is one injury to Emerson or Doherty, and Spence will come into the reckoning, even with Conte’s experimenting with othཧers in the right wing-back role.

“Without injuries to others, the Carabao Cup match against his old lo💃an side Nottingham Forest seems to be the most logical time for Conte🃏 to use him.

“I agree that Spence seems like a player who ticks every box for💙 a Conte wing-back, but the 💮boss doesn’t believe he’s ready just yet and needs to work behind the scenes.

“I know he told me in Korea that Spence was a club signing but this doesn’t feel like he’s being stubborn, simply that he does🍨n’t believe he’s there🌳 yet.

“Sessegnꦏon and Skipp are good example of players who are exactly the same age but have Conte as a fan, so it’s not that he doesn’t use prospects now.

“The wing-back is one of the toughest roles in the Italian’s formation and I gue🌳ss seeing one of the Premier League’s best midfielders of recent years in Yves Bissouma also taking time at 26-years-old to adjust, means 22-year-old Spence will be patient.

“The summer signing told me out in Israel that whi🎐le he didn’t want to wait forever, he did know he had to play the waiting game to begin with so this won’t have come as a shock to him.”
