Alan Shearer shares what he’s heard about the PGMOL overturning Myles Lewis-Skelly’s red card at Arsenal

Despite Myles Lewis-Skelly’s incredibly controversial red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Arsenal were still able to find a way to win 1-0 away from home.

However, when speaking on ‘The Rest Is Football’ podcast, Alan Shearer admitted that he’s heard otherwise. 

Discussing Le﷽wis-Skelly’s red card again alongside Gary Lineker, Shearer said that h🎃e’s got the impression that the PGMOL won’t reverse their decision, given that they don’t that there was enough reason to do so.

Speaking🌜 about Oliver’s initial decision to send off Lewis-Skelly, Lineker began: “It was actually baf🎃fling. I hope they turn it over for the youngster, because he doesn’t deserve a red.”

“He doesn’t deserve a red in his record.”

Shearer replied: “It🎃 would be really interesting, because listening to, listening to one or two reports today, and obviously people leak 𝔍things out.

“And thꦰose one or two reports that I saw would back up the PGMOL by them not going against it and go on🔜 and saying that they thought it wasn’t enough to earn it or overturn it.

“I’ll be fascinated. But that’s what I’ve heard one or two things today. So it would be really interesting to see whether�🅺� they back that decision or not.”

Of course, Arteta was hoping that Arsenal won’t even need to appeal Oliver’s decision given it appeared to be so obviousl꧃y wrong.
