Alan Shearer says he’s seen a ‘brilliant’ young player at Liverpool with ‘huge potential’
Alan Shearer has heaped praise on a Liverpool youngster who has really caught his eye this season.
Jurgen Klopp has a lot to be happy about this term. His side have already won the Carabao Cup are now in the running to win both the Premier League and the Europa League.
Mo💞st of his players have stepped up this season as well after a disappointing campaign last time out.
All of the above should make Klopp a happy man, but the thing he will be most proud of is the emergence of a few young players at Liverpool this season.

A n♈umber of Liverpool players have performed brilliantly this season, haven’t they?
Mohamed Salah has continued to be incredible, while Virgil van Dijk has returned to his best level this season. Darwin Nunez is doing really well too.
Most of the summer signings have impressed as well, especially Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo, who are both proving to be fantastic additions෴ to 🧸the squad.
Youngsters like Conor Bradley have been amazing for Liverpool, as has Jayden Danns, who impressed everyone in the Carab𝄹ao Cup final🌊 against Chelsea.
One young player who has caught Alan Shearer’s eye recently is Jarell Quansah.
The defender, who turned 21 in January, is 🍌having an unbelievable season. He has played much mo🐲re than anyone would’ve expected and has been really impressive.
Speaking on the , Shearer lavished pr🉐aise on young Quansah.
He said: “I like him and I think 𒐪he has done re♉ally, really well.
“Watched him again at the weekend against Brighton, struggled a bit in the first half I thought, Bright♏on let him have the ball. But second half, more than grew into the game and was brilliant, read it really, really we💃ll.
“Without doubt, I mean, huge potential. To be thrown into the pressure cooker at Liverpool in the way it’s going at the moment, he’s obviously got a༒ lot about him. he’s only going to get better.”
Virgil van Dijk’s comments on Jarell Quansah are very interesting
Virgil van Dijk is widely regarded as the best centre-back in the world.
The Dutchman is having an incredible season. He is definitely back to his best, and the likes of Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate must be learning so much from him.
Back in December last year, Van Dijk was asked about Quansah’s progression at Liverpool since the start of the season. The Dutchman, unsurprisingly, praised him, but one thing he said about Quansah really caught our eye.
Van Dijk claimed tha𝄹t the 21-year-old is already better than he was at that age.
“Jarell has dealt outstandingly well with every challenge that’s come his way so far,” Van Dijk said. “He’s only 20 years old, h༺e’s still growing. As a centre-half, you get better with experience.
“I was never this far, doing it consistently – like Ibou (Konate) and Jarell – when I was that young. He (Quansah) just ha♍s to keep going.”
