Alan Shearer says £25m Tottenham player is finally starting to look a great fit for Conte’s side
Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Ryan Sessegnon has made it into Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week.
The 22-year-old returned to the Spurs starting XI against Fulham on Saturday, and delivered an impressive display.
Sessegnon had started Tottenham’s first two league games of the season, before coming on off the bench in the next two.
And against West Ham, the man was an unused substitute.
However, Sessegnon was back in Spurs’ starting XI in the 2-1 win over the west Londoners at the weekend.
The Tottenham youngster was a constant threat with his surging runs up and down the left flank.
Sessegnon was the only Spurs player to make the cut in Shearer’s latest Team of the Week.
“A threat throughout and looks very comfortable in that team now,” he wrote on the Premier League .

Several media outlets also lauded Sessegnon for his performance en route to victory over Fulham.

“He is starting to deliver in the final third.”
And the gave Sessegnon 8/10 for his display.
“Vital early interception to deny De Cordova-Reid in the opening stages,” they wrote.
“And was heavily involved going forward with Spurs often attacking down their left.
“Curled an effort wide just before half-time, and forced a top save from Leno after the break.
“Got the assist for Kane’s goal, capping off a fine performance, and almost had another before Richarlison’s goal was ruled out for offside.”
