Alan Shearer names two Manchester United players who have still shone in ‘disaster’ season
Alan Shearer has now been praising two Manchester United players after their season concluded with a win over Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.
Like many, Alan Shearer considers this league campaign to have been a ‘disaster’ for United, hence the pressure that’s mounting on Erik ten Hag’s job.

It remains to be seen if the Dutchman w🌟ill be in charge next season, when the club will surely oversee a big change to their playing staff.
The likes of Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial have already announced their departures, two players who haven’t quite justified their respe꧒ctive wages of late.
And perhaps some Man United fans will hope that more of their underperforming players will also seꩲek an exit, making way for a new era.
Thankfully, the club are being linked with some exciting names right now, the likes of Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Benfica’s Joao Neves.
Two extraordinary young talent💫s, players who can be a success at Old Trafford for the next decade should they ever make the move.
That being said, Alan Shearer hꦆas just been delivering praise to two youngsters already at♈ the club.
Alan Shearer says Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo have been two big positives for Man United
The pundit was speaking on the BBC’s and was initially reflecting on United’s struggles this season, before then praising Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo.
Shearer began: “Yeah they’ve been really poor ꦡin every departmenꦯt.

“I know they’ve had injไuries as well but when you look at all those stats there, goals conceded, how worse on points thဣey are, games lost, everything – it’s been a really, really poor season.
“I know they’ve got theꦏ FA Cup final next weekend but in terms of the league it’s been a disaster really.
“They’ve had positives, the younꦡgsters Diallo and Kobbie Ma𝕴inoo, who have come in and played really, really well.”
Of course, when you consider that Manchester United also have Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, there’ജs a real core of exciting young talent to build around.
So whilst things aren’t🤪 progressing too well at the club right now, there’s still reason to be optimistic.
And if United were to spring aꦐ surprise and beat Manchester City in next weekend’s FA Cup final then it would change the whole complexion of their season.
All that being said, Tony Cascarino has recently pointed out one Manchester United signing he thinks has been a real🎶 waste of money.
