Alan Shearer left absolutely fuming with what happened in Liverpool’s win at Forest yesterday
Alan Shearer has now been discussing the controversial incident which took place during Liverpool’s visit to Nottingham Forest yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side came away from the game with꧋ three points, but in very dubious c🌊ircumstances.

Darwin Nunez’s late winner came just a minute after Forest should have kept possession just outside of the Liverpool box following a head injury to Ibrahima Konate.
Instead, Nuno Espirito Santo will have been absolutely incensed that Liverpool were awarded an uncontested drop ball, and handed possession when the ball was at the feet of Callum Hudson-Odoi when play was stopped.
Such was the controversy, Alan Shearer was discussing the incident🧜 at length on the BBC’s ‘’ last night.
Anඣd Shearer was incensed that Forest were so cruelly punished by Liverpool just moments later.
Alan Shearer couldn’t believe Paul Tierney handed Liverpool possesion and not Forest
Shearer was adamant in h🃏is view that Liverpool’s winner wou🍒ldn’t have happened were the correct decision made.
He said: “He’s dropped a big clanger yeah, Paul Tierneyꦿ, hꦚe’s got it totally wrong.
“Corner to Forest, late on in the game, Konate gets a head injury, gets knocked down 🅷by his goalkeeper Kelleher and Paul Tierney doesn’t blow yet, Hudson-Odoi has the ball there, then the referee blows, because it’s a head injury and he blows later on.
“Could actually give a penalty you know, but he doesn’t and then they come together so it’s a head injury, bꦗut he hasn’t blown yet thꩲe referee, he just blows when Forest have the ball.
“But what he does is, he then gives the ball back unchallenged,ౠ drop ball to the goalkeeper which is totally wrong.

“It should be a Forest unchallenged drop ball out on the wing where the ball was stop🌜ped because that’s who touched it last.
“It wasn’t in the box and it was outside the b🤡ox, and I get the time point, a minute and 50 seconds later that Liverpool scored – the time point is valid to a degre🐈e, but, and it’s a big but, if you drop it to where Forest should have had it everything changes.
“Liverpool don’t get the corner and t🧜he goal doesn’t happen. So that’s why they’re angry.”
Klopp’s men march on
Despite Shearer being rightfully incensed, Liverpool did ultimately take the three points at Forest through some delightful work by both Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez.
Nunez in particular showed his relentless attitude, the kind of play🎃er who’s personality lends 🔜to winning trophies.
And Jurgen Klopp will surely be so relieved to have him back fit in a period when so many are missin♐g.
All that being said, Luis 💫Garcia thought one Liveꦅrpool player really struggled yesterday.
