Alan Pardew has given his verdict on Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes after watching him in action against Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend.
The former Newcastle United manager and talkSPORT pundit has said that Erik ten Hag🧜 needs to drop Fernandes from the starting lineup.
So, what has Alan Pardew said about Bruno Fernandes? Let’s take a look.
Erik ten Hag told to drop Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes
Well, Manchester United𝐆 failed to win against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford this past weekend. The Premier League match ended in a .
🔴Bruno Fernandes started the game for the Red Devils. United manager Erik ten Hag deployed the £47 million () Portugal international as the central attacking midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

🍒Former West Ham United manager Alan Pardew was not impressed by the display produced by Fernandes and has called for Ten Hag to drop him from the starting lineup.
🍎Pardew said about Fernandes on : “For me, Fernandes needs to come out of the team and be put in his place, as if to say, right, you are not a definite starter, and sit on the bench, and maybe you would get a reaction from him, you know, like a bit of life into him.”
My View: Bruno Fernandes should not be dropped
🧜In my opinion, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag should not drop Bruno Fernandes from the starting lineup.
While the Portuguese star did not have the best of matches against Spurs, he did play some very good passes and was trying to make things.
൩The 29-year-old attacking midfielder took two shots, played one key pass, and put in seven crosses.
꧑Fernandes has made 20 appearances in the Premier League for United so far in his career. He has scored three goals and given three assists in those games. The playmaker also scored two goals and provided two assists in six UEFA Champions League games for the Red Devils.
While I think that Fernandes needs to step up his game and do more, especially off the ball🧸, I do not think that he should be dropped from the starting lineup. He is the playmaker-in-chief for the Red Devils.
