Ex-Rangers duo Kenny Miller and Alan Hutton both reacted on to the contract news by suggesting Gers teammate Allan McGregor should follow suit with a new deal.

TBR’s View:
If you’re good enough, it doesn’t matter what age you are.
Davis has throughly deserved a new contract to keep with the Scottish giants for another season, as he’s one of the go-to men that usually delivers to the highest standard for manager Steven Gerrard.
McGregor is another that very much falls into that category, so it’s no surprise to hear people asking for him to also sign a new deal.
